art gallery 2

The first ACME project converted part of a former womens clothing store into a fledgling art gallery.

For the front office and desk area we designed a flexible wall that could employed be to provide more privacy for the office, simply by sliding or pivoting parts of the wall.

A large sliding wall in the back office concealed a storage area, providing access for large pieces of art, while also being a surface for displaying other works in the office.

With a minimal budget, and a narrow scope of work, this project made the most of every design opportunity, from simple custom hardware, to using inexpensive materials and products in thoughtful ways
